Total Contract, Total Texture. Textures and textures as a design element of luxury hotels and real estate"

Total Contract, Total Texture. Textures and textures as a design element for luxury hotels and real estate""
Structure is a fundamental element in the process of transforming a space from linear to two-dimensional, as it adds layers of depth and richness. Whether it's false ceilings or floors, creating the right atmosphere depends on choosing the right surfaces. Interiors are all about evoking the senses and texture, as well as being an integral part of the process, is a vital ingredient for the positive association that it accompanies touch and tactility, adding depth to the design.
Texture can be considered one of the most important elements of interior architecture. Once the original structure is recovered, texture can elevate a space and add a sense of depth, weight and tone to a room.
The conference by the Arch. Klingenberg will introduce a design reflection on one of the largest empires in history, the Persian one, which was influenced by a multitude of different cultures but which has always presented a well-rooted identity so much so that it established itself for centuries among the most important textile centers in the world . In Iran since the 11th century, high-quality fabrics, tapestries and carpets have reflected the country's scenic and cultural richness through elegant and refined designs. It is in this setting that the Arina Luxury Hotel project will be presented, an elegant reinterpretation of Persian culture, landscape and culture in a contemporary key.

Textile design in hospitality: the role of the architect

“My approach is free from stereotypes and preconceptions. Based on the concrete needs of today's man. On the client's wishes and on the characteristics of the context, not just hotels.

Hospitality places have changed a lot in recent years because the movements of human beings who demonstrate different approaches to existence have become increasingly frequent and common.

In the field of textile design, it is about converting objective needs into functional solutions, creating welcoming and distinctive environments, capable of positively influencing the guest experience and the aesthetics of the environments, through a careful selection and targeted application of fabrics.”

Experimentation and research in the world of textiles, from 2000 to 2006, Abitare il tempo. Drawings by Carlo Amadori

Carlo Amadori, a multifaceted character and inventor of Abitare il Tempo, presents in an absolute preview some of his sketches which contain the history of textiles from 2000 to 2006.
They represent products, articles and settings created during Abitare il Tempo, which was the most important trade fair event of all time and which lasted for 25 years.

The miniatures are made by Carlo Amadori entirely by hand with a mixed technique of black and white colored ink, and tell the story of the textiles of the most important world reference brands that participated in the event, in the commercial and cultural section of the experimentation and research exhibitions.

This exhibition truly represents a unique opportunity to see a piece of the history of colours, textures, materials and textile techniques at an international level."
