Florence, 30th November 2020. The 2021 exhibition season of Firenze Fiera opens with a full online edition of FIRENZE HOME TEXSTYLE. A new way of organising fairs and events in times of pandemic and prolonged health emergency, and the will for the most qualified companies and the most prestigious and dynamic brands in the textile and furniture sector to ‘be there’, in the virtual market of the coming year, waiting for the physical fair to be back in 2022.
This is going to be a special ‘all-digital’ edition, a tribute to the best home, marine and spa textiles, as well as to the contract & hotel industry, the publishing textile industry and fragrances, and it is set to take place from Friday 5th to Monday 8th February 2021, in conjunction with IMMAGINE ITALIA & Co. – a preview of the 2022 Underwear-Lingerie collections – as for the two past editions.
The creation of this event – the most important Italian home textiles fair – will require a great effort by the fair organisation, as a leading innovative virtual project actively involving the most important companies in this industry, which will be asked to build global relationships within a digital platform allowing virtual meetings and business matching activities with operators.
In addition to companies, the event will also see the presence of buyers from department and concept stores, interior designers, key players of the textile and furniture sector, along with opinion leaders, journalists, influencers and bloggers looking for new trends and moods of the moment.
Sponsored by the Region of Tuscany, the Florence Municipality and the Chamber of Commerce of Florence, the exhibition will rely on ICE (the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade) which, for the first year, decided to enhance and support the fair with a structured programme of promotional activities, involving international buyers and offering the opportunity to organise webinars in reference markets such as Russia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, China and the USA.
